Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) Japan runs as a voluntary, non-profit, social and cultural organization. HSS conducts in monthly gatherings, community events and Sewa projects (Clothe recycling, blood-donation, disaster relief, education for poor kids, etc), emphasizing values such as self-discipline, self-confidence and a spirit of selfless service (seva) for humanity. Our focus areas are health & fitness, cultural and character development.
It was formed in July, 2014 and since then it is actively working on various philanthropic projects as Sangh is inspired by “वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्” (Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam), the idea that the whole world is one family.
Each chapter of HSS is known as Shakha – a monthly program for the entire family. While the kids enjoy learning via inspiring stories, youth and adults also participate in activities such as games, songs, discussions, and lectures on Hindu Vedic culture. We strongly emphasize the physical, intellectual and spiritual growth of each individual and also promote a sense of discipline.
